Polia & Blastema

An intimate sci-fi romance about two extraterrestrial beings who believe themselves to be one. They are utterly distressed and confounded by their separation. The narrative unfolds as a ceremonial ritual in which each discovers the other across time and space, and they strive to become the other—literally and physically. In the course of their longing, they forge a new utopia: a mythic city where the pair merge into a single form, giving rise to a novel creature, a new kind of god.
