Príbeh o Fatime a Omarovi

A television production based on the legend of Trenčín Castle's well. Set in the 16th century, Štefan Zápoľský, the Duke of Transylvania and lord of Trenčín Castle, is famed for his iron will. He builds Trenčín Castle as a fortress against the Turks, which nevertheless stands vulnerable for one reason: it has no water. The Turks seek to exploit this weakness. A skilled tactician, Zápoľský does not wait for an attack; he strikes at the enemy camp, defeats them, and takes a large number of prisoners, among them Fatima, the wife of Duke Omar. Omar resolves to ransom Fatima, and Zápoľský imposes a single price—water at Trenčín Castle. Omar undertakes to fulfill the condition and digs a well. He keeps his word and takes Fatima and the other prisoners from Trenčín Castle.
