Two years ago, in the biting cold of winter, eleven trainees pushed relentlessly toward their debut. At first, none of them were fragile or timid, and they were far from ready to perform before an audience. Then, after three cherry-blossom seasons, the eleven had grown so much that they could shoulder Sakurazaka. Farewells peppered the journey, but they only hardened them and made them more resilient. In the midst of these trials, nine fourth-generation members who had passed the auditions joined the group. On the first day of the annual training camp, the third-generation camp had assigned the song BAN, aimed at honing their technical skills. Perhaps because of this, the members gathered in the gymnasium, a touch nervous before the assigned song was revealed. Yet the song chosen for the fourth-generation members was one they had never imagined. What was the intention behind this?
