When five-year-old Liam publicly denounces religion at his Catholic primary school, a home visit from his teacher and the local priest is arranged, and sister Debbie must think on her feet. Yet shaving his head and feigning a terminal cancer diagnosis proves to be far from one of Debbie's better ideas. By the time the rest of the Gallagher clan realises what's going on and tries to set the record straight, the news has leaked out to the wider community, and Debbie's deception drags the family into a true Gallagher-style catastrophe.
