Setting off in Tanzania, they traverse the volcanic grandeur of the Ngorongoro Crater, home to one of the world's densest concentrations of wildlife within a colossal extinct crater. Touching down in the Serengeti, Stephen shadows a local veterinarian as he tends to the park's diverse fauna on his rounds. Then he lifts off again, heading west into the lush forests of Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park in search of one of the planet's most awe-inspiring creatures—the mountain gorilla.
