Before ascending to leadership of the infamous Supreme Team, Kenneth 'Supreme' McGriff and Gerald 'Prince' Miller were young boys growing up in the thriving middle-class enclave of South Jamaica, Queens. As New York shifted through the 1970s, a traumatic childhood encounter with law enforcement and the influence of new, defining role models would ultimately pave the way for the formation of the Supreme Team in the early 1980s.
