TALES OF LAKE DIAN

Haiyan, a village on the shore of Lake Dian in Yunnan, China, still has its feet in the water but can no longer dip its hands into it—polluted and silenced, it must remain at rest for ten years. No longer home to fishermen, Haiyan is permeated by stories and tales that seep into its mud-brick walls.
