With tailor-made costumes, sophisticated choreography and consummate perfection, the German Television Ballet carved a place in screen history. Since 1962, twenty-six performers have danced their way into the hearts of millions of viewers. The company has appeared on all the major television shows of its era, including Kessel Buntes, Showkolade and Schlager einer großen Stadt. They even appeared in the DEFA film Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella, where their famous long legs were not to be missed.
