The Battle for Moser River
Moser River, a modest Canadian community located about two hours from Halifax along Nova Scotia’s eastern shore, has endured over two generations of vandalism and intimidation. With policing lacking in scale and reach, violence has intensified, driving some residents to administer justice themselves. This surge in lawlessness culminated in the murder of Donald Findlay in the Halifax County Correctional Centre, ninety minutes after he began a fourteen-day weekend sentence for dangerous driving.
