Civil aviation pilots undergo a medical examination, and a commission of doctors determines who may remain in aviation and who should retire. Many are no longer in the prime of life, with some bearing gray hair. Those pilots deemed unable to fly by the commission clash with the doctors, insisting they be allowed to continue their careers on any terms.
