In a Bake Off first, the bakers venture outside the Tent for an al fresco Technical Challenge in the Final.

Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding welcome twelve contestants to the tent, where judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith preside over them as they tackle three challenges. This season opens with Biscuit Week, tasking the bakers with signature biscuits that reveal something about themselves and a place in the British Isles, before attempting one of Paul’s childhood favourites in the Technical. Finally, the bakers are required to craft a 3D biscuit portrait for their first Showstopper.
