Battle for the South

Seven teams chasing the dream of running their own food trucks descend onto the French Quarter in New Orleans, where they meet host Tyler Florence. For their opening challenge, they must craft their own version of a beignet and sell it at the French Market in a contest dubbed "Dough for Dough." The money they earn is added to their seed money. Next, the teams shop and take to the streets to sell, discovering that operating a food truck is tougher than they expected. In the second challenge, they must impress New Orleans Celebrity Chef Susan by creating a dish inspired by the popular Hurricane drink. One team is eliminated, and six remain in the race toward the finish line and the $50,000 grand prize.
