Series 1

Dr. John Brady conducts experiments at the Castle Hill government laboratory, delving into the properties of refraction. His efforts pay off when a rat is rendered invisible; however, a containment chamber leak releases radiation into the lab, and Brady himself becomes completely invisible. Initially confined and secured by the government, he escapes and seeks assistance from his former colleague, Dr. Crompton, only to discover that the powers of invisibility carry the potential to corrupt. The premiere episode moves with rapid momentum, exposing Brady's invisibility within the opening moments. The narrative nonetheless allocates time to establish Brady and his family before the plot accelerates, though the 25-minute runtimes of these episodes give the pacing a somewhat rushed feel.
