During a flight test of an experimental aircraft's fuel-flow controller, a malfunction erupts, the aircraft plunges, and the test pilot is killed. With four consecutive failures, Scott, the project's leader, endures blistering public hounding and contemplates abandoning the venture. Yet his old friend Peter Brady believes sabotage could be the culprit.
