Thirteen Days

Set against the 1930 Industrial Party Trial, this documentary portrays the proceedings against members of the Soviet technical elite accused of plotting to form a counter-revolutionary party. A dozen men are prosecuted for crimes against the Russian Revolution. They promptly confess and are afforded an opportunity to address the court with their explanations. Filled with remorse, they plead to repay their debt to society by work, and then await the sentence.
