ThuleTuvalu

Thule, Greenland—also known as Qaanaaqis—ranks among the world's northernmost towns. As the climate warms and ice caps melt, the community's fragile way of life faces mounting jeopardy. On the opposite side of the planet, melting ice raises sea levels around Tuvalu, a Polynesian island nation, threatening to wipe it off the map. Though distant, these communities are intricately connected as environmental balance shifts and traditional livelihoods come under threat. ThuleTuvalu is a stunning documentary that examines the high price of a century of development and reveals how two very different communities are now bound together in facing an uncertain future.
