Season 6

This journey takes us through Fukushima and Miyagi Prefectures, a region historically entwined with its rivers and mountains. We begin by heading north along Japan’s sixth-largest river, visiting a miniature steam locomotive and enjoying river boating along the way. In the city, a subway train climbs into the hills, crossing rivers and offering frequent scenic vistas. The trip concludes with a specialty tourist train and a visit to 1,000-year-old hot springs.
