TrueSouth

TrueSouth is an SEC Network/ESPN television series conceived by executive producer Wright Thompson and hosted by John T Edge, directed by Tim Horgan of Bluefoot Entertainment. The program delivers candid narratives about the South’s past, present, and future. In each city, two restaurants are highlighted whose exchanges unfold in an intriguing dialogue. From barbecue joints to gas-station ceviche cafes, we trace the origins of these establishments, the forces threatening them, and the belief systems that sustain them.
