On a winter day, Tae-hyeon (Jeong Seong-yoon) and Chae-ri (Lee Yu-ri), dressed in school uniforms, rush into the university admissions room, gasping for breath. Chae-ri, preoccupied with confirming her own acceptance, asks Tae-hyeon about her result as if it had just occurred to her. Tae-hyeon admits that, however he searches for his own name, he would prefer that Chae-ri passes. He brings a gift for Chae-ri, who is bound for Seoul the next day, and Chae-ri says she will grant his wish, telling him to say anything. Yet Tae-hyeon is too shy to voice his wish. On the train to Seoul, Chae-ri asks to meet her at her school next year. Tae-hyeon, who has entered a Spartan-style retraining academy to win Chae-ri's attention, devotes himself to studying with Sang-hyeok (Moon Ji-yoon). Meanwhile, Chae-ri joins a hang gliding circle with Suyeong (Shoo) and meets Jun (Gong Yoo) there.
