When Almonds Blossomed
Zura, the son of a wealthy businessman, steals a car belonging to his father's friend to entertain his classmates. When the theft is discovered, the school principal ejects him from the bike tournament. Undeterred, Zura's father convinces the principal to let his son compete and even manages to bribe his way to the championship. Zura's peers recognize the victory as undeserved, yet they are powerless to challenge it. Only Khatuna, his alleged girlfriend, and Lexo, Zura's friend, dare to speak out. Their disloyalty enrages Zura, and in a rush of blood to the head he crashes his father's car. The accident claims Lexo's life. Zura's father does everything in his power to shield his son from deserved punishment, but the first to oppose his decision is Zura himself.
