Whoops Apocalypse

Whoops Apocalypse is a six-part British sitcom from 1982, created by Andrew Marshall and David Renwick for London Weekend Television, produced for ITV. Marshall and Renwick later reworked the concept into a 1986 feature film of the same name for ITC Entertainment, featuring largely different characters and plot, though a handful of original actors returned in new roles. As the Apocalypse approaches, United States President Johnny Cyclops pursues a reelection campaign while contending with the Russians, the hiding of a deposed Shah, and a novel weapon known as a 'quark' bomb.
