Season 1

Widow's Bay, a quaint island town located 40 miles off the New England coast, conceals something beneath its placid surface. Mayor Tom Loftis is desperate to revive his struggling community. With no Wi‑Fi, spotty cellular reception, and superstitious locals who insist the island is cursed, he strives to earn their respect. They see him as soft and cowardly — and he is. Yet Loftis remains determined to build a brighter future for his teenage son and to turn the island into a tourist destination. Miraculously, he achieves that goal: tourists begin to arrive. Unfortunately, the locals were right. After decades of calm, the old stories that seemed too ludicrous to be true start happening again.
