Amanda Owen, the Yorkshire Shepherdess, returns to her familiar terrain as she threads across hills and fields through Wensleydale and Raydale on her Winter Walk. Tracing ancient routes first laid by the Romans, she meets fellow sheep farmers and exchanges insights about their shared craft. With a 360-degree camera in hand, she traverses the Dales, describing what life is like living and working in this landscape. She slows to tune in to the soft sounds and scenes of the rolling hills, even discovering fossils in the stones beneath her feet. Crossing the Dales, she descends to Semer Water, ending her walk on the pebble banks as the water laps at her feet.
