An offbeat comedy built on Russia's absurd laws surrounding violence and self-defense, it follows Katya after a night shift. At dawn she returns along her familiar route, passing through the forest from the train station. A masked rapist assaults her, but a dog scares him off. The police refuse to search for the attacker, stating "there was no actual rape." From that moment, Katya's life descends into a nightmare as violent attacks become increasingly frequent.
