Season two finds María newly promoted to lieutenant, torn between the code she’s sworn to defend and an unyielding pull toward the truth when a student activist’s corpse surfaces. The Azules are drawn into an inquiry that reaches back to the 1968 student massacre. Before they can parse the clues, the body of someone tied to that brutal era is discovered, jolting the precinct. Someone is meting out justice at the department’s doorstep, and the Azules stand as the department’s last line of defense against the killer. As María, Valentina, Gabina, and Ángeles wage battles both within and beyond the precinct, long-buried truths surge to the surface, forcing them to confront a harsh question: in a system corrupt to its core, what price will they pay to defend their ideals?
