Lancashire Council Leaders Criticize Merger Plans

Lancashire council leaders are criticizing the government's decision to revisit local authority restructuring. The ministers have 'ripped up' a previous decision from July that aimed to reduce 15 councils to four. This chaotic reversal raises concerns about the impact on services, staff morale, and the democratic process. One leader called the government's rethink 'Totally bonkers.'

The uncertainty is a recipe for disaster, and residents deserve better than this confusion!
