OpenAI's big cheese, Sam Altman, recently said that claims about AI guzzling water are just plain silly! During the AI Impact Summit in India, he pointed out that energy use is the real deal we should worry about, not water. He even suggested that AI could be better at saving energy than humans once it's trained. Plus, India is rocking clean energy, with over 51% of its power coming from green sources!
