Pat McAfee crashed WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 42 and joined Randy Orton in a brutal beatdown of Cody Rhodes. McAfee later said he came back to help Orton because it is time to save the business, and he even said he would leave WWE forever if Orton loses.
