Anderson Places Professional Growth Above Romantic Pursuits
Philippine actor and entrepreneur Gerald Anderson has stated that he is currently prioritizing his professional endeavors over seeking a romantic partner. The 37-year-old public figure indicated that finding a special someone is not at the top of his immediate priorities as he focuses on expanding his business portfolio and acting career.
Anderson described his current mindset as "manifesting" more opportunities related to the West Philippine Sea, his business ventures, and his career in entertainment. He expressed confidence that romance will arrive naturally when the appropriate time arises, rather than through active pursuit at this stage of his life.
Camping as a Benchmark for Character
While romantic relationships are not his current focus, Anderson remains interested in the dynamics of dating, specifically identifying camping as an "ideal" setting for a first date. He believes that outdoor environments reveal a person's true character more effectively than other social settings.
Anderson explained that camping allows individuals to see what kind of people they are when situations become difficult or uncomfortable. This perspective aligns with his self-description as a nature lover who values authenticity and resilience in interpersonal interactions.
Business Ventures and Resort Development
Anderson’s professional focus is heavily anchored in his real estate investments. He owns two resorts located in Zambales province, which cater to both beachgoers and mountain lovers. These properties represent a significant portion of his entrepreneurial activities outside of his primary livelihood as an actor.
To manage these ventures effectively, Anderson has adopted a strategy of surrounding himself with a dedicated team. This operational structure allows him to oversee the resorts while maintaining his acting career as his main source of income.
Partnership With SOLORA Philippines
In his latest development project, Anderson collaborated with the glamping company SOLORA Philippines. The partnership involves working closely with SOLORA’s CEO, Dr. Mary Cruz, and Khelvin Cruz to develop new accommodations.
The collaboration focuses on high-end glamping structures. According to pricing structures reported by SOLORA Philippines, tents range in price from P149,000 to P419,000. Dome structures are priced between P399,000 and P499,000.
Technical Specifications of Accommodations
Dr. Mary Cruz provided specific technical details regarding the durability and construction of the glamping tents used in these developments. She stated that the tents feature wind-resistance ratings ranging from Level 8 to Level 10.
Additionally, Cruz noted that the outer fabric of the tents is waterproof and rated at up to 8,000 mm. The structures are designed with a lifespan of at least 10 years, indicating a focus on long-term durability for guests in outdoor environments.
