Inauguration of Tinubu/Dikko 2027 Campaign Council

Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to forgive one another and set aside differences as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections. The governor made this appeal during the inauguration of the Tinubu/Dikko 2027 Campaign Council in Katsina State.

Radda emphasized that unity, reconciliation, and grassroots mobilization are critical components for the party’s electoral success and the re-election of President Bola Tinubu. He stated that the APC in Katsina has made significant progress in reconciling aggrieved members, including those who contested against him during the 2023 governorship election.

According to the governor, all aspirants who contested alongside him in 2023 have now united with him. He described this development as an encouraging sign of the party’s growing cohesion and suggested that the reconciliation process should serve as an example to other political parties across Nigeria.

Directives for Grassroots Mobilization

Radda appealed to individuals who were offended by his actions or those of other party members to forgive and join hands with the APC. He noted that the party has established committees specifically designed to reach out to aggrieved members.

"We don’t have enemies with anybody in the APC. Anybody working for the APC is helping us. We should not take anybody as opposition; we are one indivisible family," Radda stated.

The governor assured party members that he would not allow anything to divide the APC in Katsina. He expressed confidence that the same divine support that granted victory in 2023 would be present for the 2027 elections. However, he also warned that the party could face serious political consequences if it failed to deliver Tinubu’s re-election victory.

Radda directed local government chairmen, political office holders, and other stakeholders to demonstrate commitment by actively campaigning. He added, "We are watching everybody to see what they are going to do." This directive was aimed at ensuring that every level of the party structure remains engaged in the upcoming electoral process.

The governor instructed party stakeholders to conduct door-to-door campaigns in homes and communities beyond standard rallies. He called on all APC candidates to conduct individual campaigns alongside state government mobilization efforts, stressing that personal engagement with voters is essential for success.
