CONGRESSMAN JOHN MANNION visited Cayuga County on Wednesday to announce the availability of $3.1 million in federal funding for a project located at Emerson Park.
The funded initiative involves replacing an existing structure that connects the town of Fleming side of the park to Deauville Island, according to reports from Auburnpub.
During his visit, Congressman Mannion praised the allocation as support for Cayuga County. He referred to the area receiving funding as a "gem" in his remarks about the project's importance.
