Expanding the Banana Ball Universe: 2027 Tour Reveals Major Stadium Stops
The Savannah Bananas have officially unveiled the itinerary for their 2027 Banana Ball World Tour, marking a significant expansion of their unique brand of baseball entertainment. The schedule includes high-profile venues across North America, featuring international stops in Canada and Mexico, as well as historic American college and professional football stadiums.
Among the most notable announcements is the team's first-ever appearance at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana. Scheduled for June 26, 2027, this event will be branded as "Banana Ball 360." To accommodate the massive capacity of the iconic football venue, the Bananas will install two baseball diamonds on the field, allowing fans seated at both ends of the stadium to view the action simultaneously.
During this historic Notre Dame contest, the Savannah Bananas will face off against the Texas Tailgaters. This matchup is part of the broader 2027 season schedule, which aims to bring the team's fast-paced, entertainment-first approach to new audiences in college football country.
A Kickoff and a Bowl: Framing the Season
The 2027 season will open with the Banana Ball Kickoff in February at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. This early-season event sets the tone for a tour that spans multiple months and crosses international borders.
Following the kickoff, the team will make a stop at LSU’s Tiger Stadium on March 6, 2027. The season will conclude with the Banana Bowl in September at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, providing a grand finale to the year-long circuit of games.
International Expansion and Midwest Markets
The tour’s scope extends beyond the United States, with confirmed stops in Canada and Mexico. These international dates are part of the team's strategy to grow their global fanbase and introduce Banana Ball rules to new markets.
In the Midwest, the Bananas will return to Chicago for two games at Soldier Field on July 10 and 11. The NFL stadium will host the team as they continue their summer schedule, bringing the spectacle of baseball in a football venue to one of the league's most recognizable landmarks.
Continued Cincinnati Presence
The Savannah Bananas will also maintain their strong presence in Cincinnati, returning to Great American Ballpark for the third consecutive year. The team is scheduled to play against the Party Animals on July 23 and 24, 2027. This continued partnership highlights the team's commitment to established markets while simultaneously exploring new ones.
Ticketing and Fan Access
Due to the high demand for tickets to these stadium events, the Savannah Bananas have implemented a lottery system for the 2027 season. Fans interested in purchasing tickets to specific games, including the June 26 Notre Dame event, must enter through official channels.
Drawings for ticket allocations are scheduled to take place next year. Interested supporters can join the lottery list at bananaball.com to be considered for access to the tour's most sought-after dates.
The 2027 Banana Ball World Tour represents a continued effort by the Savannah Bananas to blend sports with spectacle, utilizing large-scale venues to create memorable experiences for fans across North America and beyond.
