Based on true events, the series transports viewers to Kythera from 1906 to 1909 to chronicle one of the country’s most infamous mass murders. Here we meet the central figure, Antonis, a peaceful shoemaker— a likeable young man until he is unjustly slandered. The uproar of the local community forces him to depart. He begins anew in Piraeus, only for history to repeat itself and his escape attempts to fall on deaf ears. In the big city, bitterness and anger take hold as history repeats itself, leaving Antonis with a single, looming path: revenge.
