A Bucket of Blood

Nerdy Walter Paisley is a maladroit busboy at a beatnik café who never fits in with the cool crowd around him. He pursues his beautiful co-worker Carla by sculpting a bust of her. A clumsy mishap results in the death of his landlady's cat, and he panics, hiding the cat's body beneath a layer of plaster. But as Carla and her friends celebrate the resulting artwork, Walter resolves to push the concept further, creating larger and more elaborate pieces using the same artistic process.
