When his friends throw him a wild bachelor party, he wants to keep his conscience clean, until he wakes up beside a beautiful girl named Becky with no memory of the night before. Desperate to shield his fiancée Karen from what may or may not be the truth, he tells her a tiny lie. Before long his lies spiral out of control, turning his life into a cascade of comical misunderstandings.

Decent watch, might watch again, but hard to recommend. Don't get me wrong, I like the movie: it's well casted, has a decent story and production value, but even at the time of release, it wasn't great. There are some really funny moments, and if I were Jason Lee, I think I would have some trouble choosing between Selma Blair and Julia Stiles too, but it's mostly "what awful things can we do to him" humor. Ants under a magnifying glass just aren't all that satisfying. The upside is that there are some very cleverly crafted characters and acting even beyond that. There are plenty of probably better movies out there, especially after all this time.
