A Taste of Loyalty
On Easter Sunday, 14 April 1471, in Barnet, just north of London, England, the kingdom stands amid civil war. King Edward IV, driven from his realm the previous year, returns to reclaim his crown. His youngest brother, Richard, Duke of Gloucester, then eighteen, prepares for his first taste of battle. Through the mist, he senses the looming presence of the mighty Earl of Warwick awaiting them. Torn between his brother and his mentor, Richard has chosen loyalty… but at what cost? This exploration of King Richard III as a young man reveals him shaped by loyalty, conflict, and the price of power. Rather than the infamous villain, we meet Richard as he takes his first leap into the brutal world of medieval politics!
