A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures
Born on a Baja California beach in 1959, a new hatchling named Sammy darts toward the sea, outrunning seagulls and crabs. What follows is Sammy's extraordinary fifty-year voyage across the oceans, a journey in which he faces natural and man-made hurdles while pursuing his dream of circumnavigating the globe. Along the way, he forges a close bond with his best friend Ray, a fellow turtle, and he never forgets Shelly—the turtle he saved on that very first day on the beach and the one he has always loved.
