Rahul and Anu Verghese cross paths on the same day, each detained by the police—Rahul on a charge of causing a disturbance and Anu on a charge of running away. They meet again later, and romance blossoms. Rahul helps Anu become independent and pursue employment. Subsequently, a talent agent discovers Anu as a prospective model, which she accepts. Rahul wishes to marry Anu, but first must establish himself.
