The story unfolds around Asma, an orphan girl portrayed by Hina Altaf, who is abandoned by her mother, herself a maid. To shield Asma from being sold by her alcoholic father, the mother entrusts her upbringing to her employer, Azra Mansoor, who agrees. Asma finds satisfaction in performing every household task rather than pursuing education. Although she is treated as a maid, Asma sees herself as part of the family.
