Abyss follows the fates of a man and a woman who suffer a tragic end and are granted a second chance at life through soul-reviving marbles housed within a magical abyss. Go Se Yeon, a formidable, accomplished, and stunning female prosecutor serving in the Seoul District Public Office, is killed in a fatal accident. Yet the mysterious Abyss marble revives her, but she returns with a wholly altered appearance. Her new look reflects the virtue of her past life, giving her an ordinary, unassuming exterior that mirrors how good her spirit was.
