Ambassador Magma

When an extraterrestrial invader named Goa targets Earth, he warns the Murakami family—father Atsushi, mother Tomoko, and son Mamoru—of the forthcoming invasion and demonstrates his power by transporting them to a prehistoric jungle and destroying a colossal dinosaur right before their eyes. Yet they refuse to surrender, and hope arrives in the form of Magma, an armored, golden giant with long hair and antennae. Created by the wizard Earth, Magma and his human-sized wife Mol are dispatched to defend the world against Goa. They befriend Atsushi and Mamoru, and Mamoru’s emotional longing to have a child with Mol prompts Earth to create a duplicate of Mamoru, named Gam Earth, and to grant Mamoru a whistle that can summon Gam, Mol, and Magma in moments of crisis. Thus, whenever Goa unleashes his daikaiju, Magma, Mol, and Gam are likely to fly to the rescue.
