Anna Karenina
Set in Imperial Russia, Anna, wife of the officer Karenin, travels to Moscow to visit her brother. Along the way she meets the dashing cavalry officer Vronsky and is immediately drawn to him. In St. Petersburg's rigid high society, such a relationship could destroy a woman's reputation.
