Set at the dawn of the 20th century, Another Period chronicles the misadventures of the Bellacourts, Newport, Rhode Island’s premier clan, a family whose public value isn’t what they offer the world but how lavishly they live. The series centers on sisters Lillian and Beatrice, whose sole preoccupations are their appearance, the parties they attend, and the quest for fame—an ambition that proves markedly more elusive in 1902.
