April Apocalypse
Artie is pure-bred trailer-trash through and through, with zero ambition and the school's favorite punching bag, bearing the silent burden of his virginity. Then April moves out of state—his best friend since kindergarten, the love of his life. Three years pass before Artie musters the nerve to hit the road and tell her how he feels. A car crash plunges him into the zombie apocalypse. This time, he won't hide. His love for April doesn't grant him wings, but it does grant him the courage to hack, slash, punch, and push toward the girl he loves. Time is of the essence, because the bite on his hand will decide whether he shares a French kiss or a bite out of April's brains.
