Archival: The Hampton Inheritance

Marigold Finch boards a train bound for the enigmatic Chekhol Institute, a hidden academy dedicated to preserving books deemed too dangerous for society. The institute gathers a cadre of eccentric, privileged scholars—Archivists—whose rare gifts enable them to slip into storyworlds and inhabit them. Marigold learns that her brother Sebastian, who disappeared years ago, was admitted to the same archivist program before his vanishing. When she discovers Sebastian has been trapped inside an unfinished mystery novel titled The Hampton Inheritance, she ventures inside to rescue him before time runs out.
