Around the World in 80 Days
The plot centers on Phileas Fogg’s daring £20,000 wager with three Reform Club members that he can circumnavigate the world in 80 days. He enlists his newly hired French valet, Passepartout, and is pursued by Detective Wilbur Fix, who wrongly believes Fogg has robbed the Bank of England and that the wager serves as a cover to flee capture.
