ASSASSINS PRIDE
In a realm where only the aristocracy bears the power to confront the monster, mana sits at the heart of society. Melida Angel is born into privilege and trains at a mana-centric academy, yet she possesses no mana. To draw out any latent talent, Kufa Vampir is assigned as her tutor, even as he is secretly ordered to assassinate her if she proves talentless. He resolves to fulfill that order, deeming it a futile pursuit for those without mana to strive in this world... Yet he asks her, "Do you want to entrust your life to me?" He is neither a pure assassin nor a mere tutor; he wagers his pride as an assassin-tutor to reveal to the world what Melida is capable of!
