Atempause

Esther (40) and her ex-husband Frank (42) share a tale of unimaginable loss. Their nine-year-old son Hannes is declared brain-dead after a soccer accident. In an instant, the parents lose their child and are unprepared for what follows. They must endure the helplessness of watching fate unfold. At the hospital, they encounter a Turkish family in the same crisis. Together, the separated couple confronts the most difficult decision of their lives: When will they switch off the devices?
