Avtaar Krishen endures a modest, hard-won livelihood with his wife Radha and their two sons, Ramesh and Chander. A factory worker, he toils tirelessly so his sons can receive an education and aspire to a better life. An accident at work leaves him injured and crippled, but his employer, Bawaji, provides him with adequate compensation.
