Bad Girls
Bad Girls is a British television drama series that aired on ITV from 1 June 1999 to 20 December 2006, featuring a lineup including Simone Lahbib, Mandana Jones, Debra Stephenson, Linda Henry and Jack Ellis among others across its eight-year run. The show circulated to 17 countries and was produced by Shed Productions, the outfit later known for Footballers Wives and Waterloo Road. Set in the fictional female prison of Larkhall, it presents a blend of weighty and lighter storylines centered on the inmates and staff of G Wing. Beginning in 2010, UK broadcast rights were acquired by CBS Drama, and the series has since enjoyed regular repeats—by September 2012 the channel was encore airing the series in a late-night timeslot.
